April 2, 2026
Good Morning Parents,
Tomorrow is the first day of spring break! Your students have been working hard this semester and have earned this break. I hope you all have a tremendous Easter and enjoy the time together. I want to give many thanks to all parents and guardians
who attended our spring parent/teacher conferences. We appreciate your partnership and hope you had a productive time meeting with teachers and discussing your student’s progress.
We have had a busy spring so far. Our seniors completed their senior portfolios and did an outstanding job presenting to their families and community members. It was inspiring to hear how they’ve grown and changed during their time at Aug Prep. We also had a fantastic musical performance of The Little Mermaid and wrapped up our winter sports. Finally, our juniors did a great job on their state ACT test and came in really ready to do their best.
The month of April has many important events. PreACT testing will be occurring for students in grades 9th and 10th on Wednesday, April 22nd. On this day, our 12th grade students will begin their overnight retreat and our 11th grade students will be virtual learning.
To close out the month, we’ll have our 9th grade retreats April 27th and 28th and office hours for Semester 2 will begin on April 27th and go until final exams. There are a lot of important events-if you ever need any clarity on anything going on please let us know.
We are always open and available for your questions so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all regarding your student. Their advisor is a great point of contact and I can also be best reached through email at jwallace@augprep.org. I always welcome your feedback and the opportunity to connect.
With much respect,
Mr. Wallace

PM exams may be released a little later than 3:15pm based on the timing of the test. Please see the chart below for testing dates. There areno makeup dates for these exams.

Grade Updates: Students can access their grades at all times on Schoology. We send a formal notice to students every two weeks if they are passing all of their courses or failing a course. Parents will receive a notification from Kinvo if their student is failing 3 or more classes. Advisors and teachers want your student to be successful so please reach out if you have any questions on your student’s academic progress.
Contacting Teachers: If you need to get in touch with your student’s teacher you can email them directly from this page.
Parent Communication: If you need to reach your student please call Aug Prep and request to speak to your student. This assists with ensuring that your student does not get their phone confiscated for using it during the school day. If they need to reach you they are able to come to the high school office at any time and call you from our phone.
Arrival Time: Reminder that doors open at 7:05am. The first class begins at 7:40am and students need to be in the building and on time daily. We want to ensure that your student is present for the entire school day for their success. Please reach out to the dean team at HSdeans@augprep.org if you have any questions or concerns.
Uniform Reminder: Spring is here and with that a quick reminder on skirts for girls. Our policy is that skirts cannot be above 2 inches from the knee. Students are allowed to wear non see through leggings under the skirt if it is a little bit above the knee. Please reach out to HSdeans@augprep.org if you have questions.
Summer is right around the corner, and we want to ensure students stay engaged and involved in meaningful programs! We encourage you to explore the College and Career Opportunities slides for the most up-to-date information on available programs. Each month, students receive new slide decks highlighting a variety of opportunities they can apply for.
The social work team is here to support your student’s social-emotional growth throughout the year. We can help with things like: stress, anxiety, depression, communication, relationships, substance use, healthy eating, and more.
