Good Morning Parents,

Welcome to March! We had a great month of February with students and are looking forward to the spring. There are many, many events and opportunities coming up this month so please make sure to review this email in detail and let us know if you have any questions.

The first important event is our spring parent/teacher conferences. This event is required for families and it is essential that we have all parents on campus to discuss their student’s progress this year. We will have Semester 2 progress reports available for you and will be prepared to talk through graduation plan progress for all students. Conferences will be held on the following dates in the high school gym:

  • Thursday, March 12th: 4:30-7:30
  • Friday, March 13th: 8:00-11:30

Additionally, this month we have the state ACT for our 11th grade students. This will take place on Tuesday, March 24th. Only 11th grade students are in-person on this day. Students in grades 9th, 10th, and 12th will have virtual learning assignments that should be completed at home.

Finally, a reminder that our high school musical, The Little Mermaid, is showing tonight and tomorrow. Tickets can be purchased here. Spring sports are also starting up shortly-talk with your students about the different opportunities they have to get involved!

We are always open and available for your questions so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all regarding your student. Their advisor is a great point of contact and I can also be best reached through email at jwallace@augprep.org. I always welcome your feedback and the opportunity to connect.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week at conferences!

With much respect,

Mr. Wallace

The theme for this month’s chapel is tied to Lent and is focused on the growth that comes when we die to ourselves and confess our sins to Christ. As we prepare for Easter we will pay more and more attention to the command to “Take up our cross and follow Jesus.”
